Welcome to Bright Star Daycare. These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and expectations for families enrolling their children in our licensed in-home childcare program. By registering your child, you agree to the following terms.
Enrollment and Registration
Enrollment is confirmed only after:
- Completion of required registration forms
- Submission of necessary documents and emergency contacts
- Agreement to daycare policies and payment terms
Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hours of Operation
Parents must follow the agreed drop-off and pick-up times. Late pick-ups may result in additional charges.
Fees and Payments
- Fees are due as per the agreed schedule (weekly/monthly).
- Government childcare subsidies are accepted for eligible families.
- Fees remain payable for reserved spots, including child absences due to illness, vacation, or holidays.
Attendance and Absences
Parents must inform the daycare in advance if a child will be absent. Regular attendance helps maintain routine and consistency for children.
Health and Illness Policy
To maintain a healthy environment:
- Children who are unwell must stay home.
- Parents must inform the daycare of any illness or contagious condition.
- Children may return once they are symptom-free or with medical clearance if required.
Safety and Behavior Guidance
Bright Star Daycare follows positive behavior guidance practices. Physical punishment or harsh discipline is never used. Children are guided with patience, respect, and age-appropriate methods.
Personal Belongings
Parents are responsible for providing necessary items for their child. Bright Star Daycare is not responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings brought from home.
Communication with Parents
We maintain open communication with families through daily updates and discussions. Parents are encouraged to share any concerns or special instructions regarding their child.
Termination of Care
Either party may terminate childcare services with prior notice as agreed upon at the time of enrollment. Immediate termination may occur in situations involving safety concerns or repeated policy violations.
Changes to Terms
Bright Star Daycare reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. Parents will be informed of any significant changes.
